Airport Transportation: 5 top cities you must travel in 2023

Airport transportation

According to Morgan Stanley, this is the year that business travel bounces back. That certainly looks true from our perspective at Delux, where our airport transportation service is back in high demand. We work with hundreds of business travelers annually, most flying out of and into JFK or LaGuardia.

These airports serve cities all over the world. Now, business travel has its plusses and minuses, and some cities are better to visit than others. We’ve conducted unofficial research to identify the top five international cities for business travel. Please see how many you have visited and whether you agree with our selection.

When arranging your trip here or abroad, note that Delux has a Worldwide Affiliate Program. We would be delighted to arrange luxury car service in any city nationwide and worldwide while you are away. Get in touch to open a corporate account for easy billing.

Hong Kong – the actual City that never sleeps

Ol’ Blue Eyes sang about our beloved New York, New York. But if you want to see another city that never sleeps, try Hong Kong. The hustle and bustle goes on 24/7. Hong Kong is all about business. It is quick and easy to set up a business, and there are no restrictions on overseas directors or shareholders, so there are hundreds of expat businesses.

Because of this, Hong Kong has less in the way of tourist attractions. But when the business day is over, there are endless nightlife options to wind down, from quiet piano lounges to Irish bars to nightclubs.

New York to Hong Kong is a 16-hour flight. Cathay Pacific has two direct flights a day, departing from JFK.

London – still a global center of business

London and New York have plenty in common. The climate is bitter in winter but can take you by surprise in summer, and the traffic is the stuff of legends. Your airport transportation service will get you to JFK in comfort, but when you get to Heathrow, it’s best to arrange a luxury limo through our affiliate program. The black cabs in London are as famous as the yellow ones in New York but do not offer the most comfortable ride. Taking a train into the City, too, is an option but not ideal for business travelers.

If you have spare time away from business, try to see a few sights. Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, and St Paul’s Cathedral are all within easy reach of the City and should be top of your list. And remember, Delux will arrange all transportation during your stay abroad.  Contact us to learn more.

New York to Hong Kong is a seven-hour flight. There are about ten direct flights daily from JFK to London Heathrow, and you can choose American Airlines or British Airways. Delux’s airport transportation service will take you to those terminals.

Frankfurt – the world exhibition hub

Germany is mainland Europe’s top business destination, and Frankfurt is the world’s favorite venue for exhibitions. Business travelers worldwide love the airport at Frankfurt for its trouble-free experience and efficiency.

Because of this, Frankfurt is a preferred hub for traveling to other destinations in Europe and beyond if you can’t fly direct.

Flight time from New York to Frankfurt is just under eight hours. Both Delta and Lufthansa have daily flights out of JFK.

Tokyo and a special relationship

The business relationship between the USA and Japan goes back decades. If you are lucky enough to be part of it, Tokyo is a city like no other. First, it is vast, covering a land area of 845 square miles, compared to New York’s 305. So take care if left to book your hotel and ensure it is close to your business venue.

The workforce is hardworking and energetic. But these people also know how to decompress after work and are incredibly hospitable.

There are two daily flights from JFK to Narita. JAL codeshares with American Airlines and Ana Air with United. Flight time is between 14 and 15 hours.

Paris – Europe’s research and tech hub

If you work in research or tech, you’ll likely visit Paris often, as it has become a European science hub. Most businesses are outside the City, but the Metro system is efficient, and it is not difficult to venture into central Paris in the evening.

The City is rightfully famous for its cuisine, and there is nothing better than exploring the narrow side streets and trying out small family-run restaurants and cafes.

There are about eight daily flights from JFK to Paris, with Air France, Delta, or Jet Blue. Flight time is a little over seven hours.

Set off in style and efficiency.
